Check this out: Featured in Bucks County Magazine, even made the front cover! Won the big prize at the Phillips Mill Art Exhibition, snagging the "New Hope Style Impressionism Award" thanks to Gratz Gallery. I painted this in some seriously tough conditions – deep snow, and it was only four degrees! Coldest I've ever worked. I lit a fire fast to stay warm. The oil paint was frozen solid, so I mixed it with linseed oil to get it workable. The painting was done from sunrise to sunset on a 42x36 inch canvas.

It's a mountain brook in Little Gap, PA, on land the Lenape Indians used to live on, and the creek name is from their language. I hiked through knee-deep snow to get there, carrying 75lbs! Painted fast in freezing temps, around 20 degrees, with a fire going. You'll see cool blues and warm yellows in the creek, plus bright colors from the snow and trees. The frame is awesome – a "Craftsman hand-carved frame gilded - 5 inch wide, hammered cove panel - twachtman style arts and crafts 20th century" museum quality.
